Depends on the person.
^^ I for instance understand movies that are rated
"R" = "Restricted" without problems.
If the person is having to much of violents of cource its bad. So is it if u have to much of anything. ^^
But as I said it, depends on the person not the violence. U could have the smartest person of the world sh*t his pants just by seeing a drop of blood. :D
That's why my dad only cares ca .42% about the rating. Because some times there just cr*p.
He watches the Movie and gives it his own personal rating and also looks if I am even ready to watch it, or if it even is WORTH watching. ^^
well ok think about it for a second violent Video Games huh i wonder
They are bad for children because they set a bad example and might get some pretty bad role models for their lives. However they also teach the children to protect themselves :)
People say violent video games can be bad for your health, that is somewhat true. If you sit or lay down playing video games a day you can gain more weight because you arenβt moving around. Yet those are some people's jobs they sit down and make or even test video games all day long. I believe that if you just take the time to learn how long and hard it is to make those games you will see that itβs not easy. So next time you say that itβs bad for you to just sit and play video games, just remember that it is someone's job.
i think it depends on how violent the game is and what rating the game is and how old or young the child is.
either the friend or parents
yes
Because if little kids play violent video games when there young they might copy it.
To what extent should the government act as a media censor; especially in regard to violent content directed at young people?
Well, obviously!! If you want your child to be safe and to have a safe future, then yes! Plus, were okay without violence in our life.
It's good for young and older people.
Yes they do because they influence young people they should do so cautionary and carefully..
Clarisse believes that if young people had more encouragement and guidance from adults, they would be less likely to engage in violent and destructive behaviors. She also believes that if young people were given opportunities to express themselves creatively and engage in meaningful activities, they would be less likely to resort to violence. Finally, she thinks that if young people felt more connected to their community and had a sense of belonging, they would be less inclined to be violent and destructive.
coz u stoopid
it would depend of what type of video games you are playing. For example, if you play violent video games as a young child, it will affect you in real life of being a violent person and you will be sent to juvenile hall or jail. That explain of how video games is compared to live.
There are a lot of rumors about how video-games are damaging the minds of young people and increasing violent tendencies. It is possible that this may be the case with some people, but it's usually not the case with most. A lot of it has to with the content of the video game in question, the age of the child, and the child's mental health and behavior. If a child that has a history of violent behavior, then the chance that a video game will drive them to commit a violent act is higher. Most people that you hear about that supposedly killed themselves because of video games, actually did so because of other issues. Like depression. The short answer is "no", video games are not killing kids.
