What does ORG mean in Visionplus?
ORG in Visionplus represents Organization. It is used in various modules of Visionplus. Generally it is the identification number of the organization associated with that particular record. An Organization record establishes operating parameters for companies or business units that process accounts in a similar fashion. You can define up to 998 Organization records, each with a different operating environment. A unique organization number identifies each Organization record, also referred to as an organization. What does logo mean in Visionplus?
Under Vision plus architecture, each system can have 998 orgs, each org can have 998 logos, so a logo basically identifies a product. Every card/account number is a 16 digit number out of which digits 7-9 are the logo number which help recognize the type of card. You can have the parameters defined in the PCT on logo level as well if you want functions specific to a particular card type only.
