Visual Basic is basic programming. It's tough to understand the other languages without knowing Visual Basic. Even though it is not used to make too many programs, it is used to train programmers.

It provides the developer with drag and drop controls and components instead of coding hundreds of lines to create a control or a component. If anyone is new to programming they should probably start with visual basic. GUI or the Graphical User Interface of VB allows user or developer more freedom
