When love is at its purest form it is unconditional, understanding, patient, kind, without judgement. It is then difficult to experience love at this level as we get older because of past hurts and general life experience. So we then become limited and when let down or hurt by someone we love we "cannot hold the bent" i.e. the disappointment, sadness, being let down etc.
But if we allow love to just flow and be at its purest and experience it like we've never been hurt or let down everything will come from love and we will have no need to judge or feel superiority or inferioty towards anyone or anything. We can simply be for the joy of being.
