Anyplace that your mother used her card could be a suspect place. anyone from the clerk at the store to a waitress could get the card information and use it. there are several ways it happens from just writing down the card number to scanning the card and duplicating it. the latter is more complex and unlikely, but not to be dismissed. more than likely I would look at a restaurant for a rouge waitress/waiter. The restaurant's to watch are the ones where you have to actually give them your credit or debit card. It is best to ask the waiter/waitress if you can go to their register, especially if the staff person is someone your not use too. hope this helps. Sgt.
