On a 1996 Ford Mustang : Two of the places that you will find the VIN are : Open the drivers door , and on the end of the door ( or the latch pillar ) will be an information sticker that will include the VIN If you look through the front windshield from OUTSIDE , at the bottom of the windshield , on the drivers side , on top off the dash will be a metal plate that has the VIN
