-Yes, it is possible. I had a Level 100 Mewtwo and only like 5 Ether [s]. They didn't even get a chance to attack me! Oh, and get your Pokemon to hold leftovers. Just in case you get attaked it will restore a little health at a time, but it works pretty well!!
-I suggest a shellbell to be held, for each time you attack, it heals you. Also, it's very possible, in fact, I used my Level 100 Blazi (Blaziken) and although I had a full party, I never used them. The Pokemon league is where I go just to train basically. Id suggest you get an/some Exp. Share [s] to train your other Pokemon.
