If it's any of the gas engines, it's underneath the truck closer to the driver's side. If it's a 7.3 diesel, same location. If it's a 6.0 diesel, the filter housing is located on top of the engine middle front. You unscrew the top and the filter cartridge is removed out the top of the housing.
