Very recently, the remains of what well may be MS Earhart's plane were discovered on the South Pacific Island, Presumably, she and her navigator, Fred Noonan both died. Bits of what almost must be her airplane have been found on an island. It is now presumed that she landed her Lockheed Electra airplane on an island, where she and Noonan starved to death.
