Anna Anderson was not Anastasia
No one really knows. People who knew Anastasia thought that Anna Anderson was Anastasia because she knew little things about Anastasia's life that someone who was not Anastasia would not know. However in one book it has been theorized that Gleb Blotkin (the son of the Romanov's doctor who was killed with them, childhood playmate of the real Anastasia and chapion of Anna Anderson) fed her information that she needed to fool people.
Mystery Hunters - 2002 Princess Anastasia Anna Anderson was released on: USA: 16 October 2005
I believe she was an imposter.
a polish factory worker named Franziska Schanzkowska who used the name anna anderson when she claimed to be Anastasia Romanov.
If you believe Anastasia survived the murder of her family,( and depending on her age. ) Maybe. PS It is rumored that Anna Anderson ( possibly Anastasia ) had a child.
Yes she did, all the bodies of those killed in the Ipatiev house have been recovered and DNA has revealed Franziska Schanzowska (Anna Anderson) was in no way related to The Romanovs, therefore not Anastasia Many say yes, but I say no. Read about Anna Anderson, I believe she was Anastasia.
The remains of Anastasia Romanov were discovered in a mass grave in Yekaterinburg, Russia, in 1991. She, along with her family, was originally buried in a forest near Yekaterinburg after being executed in 1918. However, their remains were later exhumed and reburied in the Peter and Paul Cathedral in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1998.
The most famous Anastasia impostor was Anna Anderson. However her DNA has been tested several times and it does not match.
Many people believed it was Anne Anderson, but after she died scientists came to the conclusion that Anne Anderson was a fake. Nobody has really found Anastasia Romanov. Theres a book written caled Dreaming Anastasia. It's really good, and about what might have happened to Anastasia. I recomend reading it. In the book she was taken away by Baba Yaga to keep safe. Baba Yaga is a which in a Russian fairy tale. It's just a book, and of course that is not what really happened, but it is intresting and something to think about. I recomend reading the book. It about Russian history, but it's a fantasy book. I didn't even know it was based on a real envent until i googled it. Its well written.
2 good books are: Anna Anderson; The Mystery Of Anastasia The Romanovs, The Final Chapter Hope this helps
Terri-Ann Anderson has written: 'Shakespeare, Hamlet and the French theater' -- subject(s): Theater, History
Many people who actually knew the real Anastasia did not believe that Anna was Anastasia. The tutor for the royal children went to see her and said that if she was Anastasia he was a China man. Anastasia's Aunt Irene (Alexandra's sister) came to see Anna and said that the facial features did not match. However people compared pictures of Anna Anderson and the real Anastasia from similar angles and lighting and said that their ears were similar. A woman who had authenticated the diaries of Anne Frank said that the two had similar writing.
