Yes, Anne Frank and her family were separated upon their arrival at the concentration camp. Anne and her sister Margot were sent to Bergen-Belsen in 1944, while her mother was taken to Auschwitz and her father to a labor camp. Anne and Margot died in Bergen-Belsen before the camp was liberated.

The Frank family were separated upon their arrival in Auschwitz, in October 1944. Otto Frank never saw his wife and children again. Anne remained with her mother and sister Margot until November. At that time, she and Margot were placed on a transport to Bergen-Belsen camp in Germany. Mrs. Frank was too ill to accompany them.

Anne Frank lived with her family in the "Secret Annex" until the hiding place was betrayed and the Franks were captured by the Nazis. The Franks were eventually taken to Auschwitz where Otto, Frank's father, was separated from the rest of the family. Otto was the only member of the family to survived World War II. Anne eventually ended up in Bergen-Belsen camp with Margot. Margot died from typhus. A few weeks later, in April, 1945, Anne also died of typhus, mere weeks before liberation.
