Best Answer

Egypt was colonized by Britain very early on. In the short-term it was bad because Egyptians lost their liberty. in the long term it was good because it gave the Egyptians railroads, commerce, and many other wonderful things other African countries didn't have, giving Egypt a huge advantage.
