The History Channel presents content relating to history, recorded or hypothetical. The Discovery Channel presents facts of which many people might be unaware.
Maybe then we can find a new way to improve the medicine or to learn how to know what chemicals are safe and which are not.
The age of discovery began with the passage of Cape Bojador (in Africa), then known as the end of the world, by the Portuguese Gil Eanes in 1434. Even before the Portuguese had arrived by the Madeira and Azores. The portuguese discoveries followed one to another until the discovery of the passage to the Indian Ocean in 1488 by Bartolomeu Dias. Spain had its first big trip to Bahamas in 1492, and Portugal and finally reached India in 1498. After this they were followed by England, France and Netherlands.
