Yes, she was. She wanted to become a missionary and went to a school to become one and was told she wasn't qualified. She told herself no one can tell her if she were qualified or not. She wanted to go to China and heard of a 73-yr. old missionary woman who needed help. She went to be her helper and soon became a blessing to China.
