Was Hitler a heroThough Hitler is considered by many evil, he did have success in the political world, becoming leader of Germany. The hero part of the question is debatable. Many of his followers looked on him as a hero, but many looked on him a violent sociopath. If by 'hero' you mean very successful in the political world, the answer, in short, is yes he was. Outside of politics though, Hitler does not hold the title of hero.

In Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler was viewed as a hero to many. There are still some today that see Hitler as their hero. However, to a large majority of people worldwide, Adolf Hitler is seen as the antithesis of hero; an extraordinarily evil man.
