YES! Because Joseph (his real name) Jackson was a strict man. For example when the Jackson 5 (their band) would rehearse for concerts and shows Joseph would sit down and hold a belt in his hand because if either Tito Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Jermaine Jackson or Michael Jackson make 1 wrong dance step or 1 mistake WHIP WITH A BELT. They would get hit with whatevers nearby Joseph. Like glass, iron chords, belts. One time while Michael Jackson was sleeping Joseph came in through the window and wore a mask and that scared Michael to death. But Joseph said that was just to show them that don't sneak through the window or you will get kidnapped but personally I think that's child abuse think about your own father doing that. And Joseph Jackson doesn't even let his kids call him Daddy he says, "That's Joseph to you!". And Michael's dream was to call his own father, daddy! And one time Joseph held Michael with one leg and pulmelled him around and that WASN'T on purpose. He also slams his kids on the wall! So Katherine Jackson (Joseph's wife) said, NO JOSEPH!, YOUR GONNA KILL HIM!". And she was afraid of Joseph. Their u have it!!!!

Maybe because at first it was the Jackson 4 and Jermaine was the star until Michael came along and Michael was the star of the group so Jermaine probably was a little jealous so i say yeah he was jealous of Michael
