No, because calendar years were created by the Romans, long before Jesus was alive. December was the end of their calendar. That is why we celebrate New Years at the beginning of a new year.
i am not sure. but i do know that He was not born on Dec. 25 as we celebrate it. He wasnt even born in the winter. I think He was born in the March/ April time period.

December 25th is said to be the day Jesus was born. It is Jesus' birthday, adn you usually get presents on birthdays. But since Jesus was said to give his life for us, we receive presents.
