He did not have the name Jesus then. He was called the Word or the Rock, in addition to most all the other names used speaking of God or His attributes.

God, or the Word, was seen by Adam and Eve as no one has ever seen the Father. Many believe He appeared to Abraham as Melchizedek and the Apostle Paul speaks to this in the Book of Hebrews. It is also believed He appeared to Abram with two angels and stopped and refreshed themselves before continuing on to destroy the city.
