This world, deceived by its god, Satan [Rev.12:9], whom the first two people worshiped and obeyed... is lost in unbelief and remains ignorant to the Truth of God.
Throughout The Bible, God converses with "angels" [spirit beings]... sending them with messages to man. It also tells us that God "fought" a battle against an angelic rebellion, which resulted in those angels, led by a "Great Dragon" [Satan; see scripture above], being imprisoned here on the earth, pending Judgment Day and their trial [Jude 1:6]... where they presently have tremendous influence upon mankind; flesh and blood and the spirit within a man; as well as other things.
Jesus was [and IS] on speaking terms with these invisible creatures... which man can't see, recognize or believe exist, but which Jesus, the WORD of God, CREATED in the beginning [John 1:3]. When demon-possessed men met Jesus... the demons fearfully cried out from with the men and reminded Him that it was not yet Judgment Day:
"...two men who were possessed by demons met Him... They began screaming at Him, 'Why are you bothering us, Son of God? You have no right to torture us before God's appointed time!'" (Matt.8:28-29 NLT New Living Translation)
God's plan of Salvation is on a "time schedule." Jesus came the first time to depose this world's God, Satan, the Dragon. And through the biblical accounts [Matthew and Luke 4] Satan's defeat is recorded.
God's plan further required and was carefully timed, that Jesus be "murdered" upon a certain appointed Passover [when His Divine blood would be shed in payment for mankind's sins, which is able to purchase their freedom from their bondage to this world's god]. Even though Satan tried to "influence men" to murder Him on a number of occasions prior to God's appointed plan.
"...the people in the synagogue were furious. Jumping up, they mobbed Him and took Him to the edge of the hill on which the city was built. They intended to push Him over the cliff, but He slipped away through the crowd and left them." (Luke 4:28-30 NLT)
"...they picked up stones to kill Him. But Jesus hid Himself from them and left the Temple." (John 8:59 NLT)
All that said -- the Bible clearly tells us that "Jesus didn't instruct Judas to betray Him." Jesus KNEW how the things in His Father's plan were to go down... and He knew that Judas would be influenced and used by Satan... as Satan and his demonic angels have used mankind since the Garden of Eden... WHEN THE RIGHT TIME CAME.
"THEN SATAN ENTERED INTO JUDAS ISCARIOT... and he went over to the leading priests and captains of the Temple guard to discuss the best way to betray Jesus to them. They were delighted [by the channeled satanic power and influence within Judas] that he was able to help them..." (Luke 22:3-5 NLT).

Ethics in philosophy is the study of moral principles that govern behavior and decision-making. It aims to understand what is right and wrong, good and bad, in order to guide individuals and societies in making ethical choices. Key questions in ethics include determining the nature of morality, defining what constitutes ethical behavior, and exploring the foundations of moral reasoning.

Judas betrayed jesus for thirty peaces of silver to the high priests.
It was never prophesied that a man specifically called Judas would betray Christ, but Zechariah 11:12-13 mentions the ransom of thirty pieces of silver.
All twelve were present when Christ and his disciples sat round the table. Judus eventually left to betray Christ at Christs invitation.
The root word for betray is "traitor," which comes from the Latin word "traditor" meaning "one who delivers."
Don't tell him the secret, or he'll betray you and tell the others. Traitors are individuals who betray their homeland.

Ziva does not betray NCIS?
Judas was the only one to betray Christ. As Judas was the keeper of the purse for the twelve he was always seeking ways to get more money. Remember the girl who anointed Christ's feet with expensive ointment. Judas complained that it could have been sold to help fill the purse. Christ chose Judas because He knew the mind of Judas. Now let us discuss Peter. He did not betray Christ, rather he betrayed himself for his lack of a testimony that Jesus was the Christ. We cannot blame Peter for this, he was still new to the teachings of Christ and was yet to have a strong testimony that Jesus was indeed the Christ. It was not until later that this testimony came to him. If you remember he and some of the apostles asked Christ why they could not heal the sick, Christ told them it was because of their lack of faith. Many of us are like Peter, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Betray has two syllables.
