No, she was born in 1910, long before the war began.
Yes she was alive during the War.
YES! She was a NUN! OF COURSE SHE WAS CATHOLIC!FACT: On wikipedia it said she was brought up as a Roman Catholic.OPINION: But it's also very confusing as she believes in Jesus as well which sort of shows that she believes in a mixture of religion.Mother Teresa was a Catholic.
No, Mother Teresa and Florence Nightingale were different individuals. Mother Teresa was a Catholic nun known for her charitable work with the poor in India, while Florence Nightingale was a pioneering nurse known for her work during the Crimean War and for establishing modern nursing practices.
Mother Teresa was the founder of a religious order that helps the poorest of the poor. Maximilian Kolbe was a Catholic priest who traded his life for another and died in a German concentration camp during World War 2. Father Damien was a Belgian priest who worked with lepers in Molokai, Hawaii, and ended up dying of leprosy himself.
No, Mother Teresa was never a ruler of any country. You have confused her with Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina (German: Maria Theresia) who was the only female ruler of the Habsburg dominions and the last of the House of Habsburg.
Anna Maria Teresa
Yes, she did. Mother Teresa was a teacher during world war 2 in Calcutta and she had seen 3 million people died of starvation and malnutrition and millions more in violence during the division of India/ Pakistan. In 1946 she came back to Calcutta canceling her travel to Darjeeling which later she mentioned it was a God's call and decided to help the poorest of the poor. She can't stop people killing one another (violence during India/ Pakistan division), but she took help some local people to give those died a honorary death by burying and not leaving the bodies on the street. And there were lot of kids who lost their parents and crying out on the streets. She rescued all those poor kids and she started begging on the streets for food to feed these kids whom she called angels. She taught all those kids by writing alphabets on the sand as she can't afford buying writing boards or writing slates. This is what I could say about great MOTHER during World War 2 and post war time. Thank you
HE did, in fact, although born in Austria (strangely enough, his mother was his fathers niece or cousin) He was a German soldier in WWI and the Nazi leader in WWII
Mother Teresa, known for her humanitarian work, helped during times of war by providing care and support to the most vulnerable, including refugees and the injured. During conflicts like the Balkan War, she established missions to offer medical assistance, food, and shelter. Her approach emphasized compassion and peace, often advocating for dialogue and understanding amidst violence. Through her efforts, she highlighted the importance of human dignity, even in the direst circumstances.
