No. This movie bears no resemblence to any of the books. At all. They got virtually everything wrong.
None to my knowledge. And they totally screwed up the personalities and whatnot and slapped the Nancy from the old books into the present, without modernizing her as the author did. Bad movie. Amazing books.
no, if you go to the Nancy Drew movie and look on "about the dvd" and then go to "productions" it says that the story was created by Andrew Flemming and Tiffany Paulsen
The books state that Nancy Drew is tall and slim. Though the actress of Nancy Drew in the movie, Emma Roberts, is 5'2, the real Nancy Drew is exactly 6 feet tall.

There are currently a few books out based on the movie, but mostly on the art and books for children. There are no novels or continuing story books out yet, but James Cameron is writing a novel that should be finished by the end of 2010.

The most recent movie was released in 2007, if that's what you mean. More books and games are constantly being released.
