Pocahontas was not a christian growing up. She was a native American Indian, thus she had her own Native Cultures, but she was baptized before she married John Rolfe and she took the Christian Name Rebecca.

She believed in the law of nature which means that every thing from the water to the trees were connected to Mother Earth. Later she converted to Christianity when she married her husband John Rolfe

History only notes that she was "Baptized" into "Christianity" without a specific denomination. It should be noted that the Jamestowne Settlement was founded by members of the Anglican Communion (Church of England), and it was to this religion that she was most likely baptized. It should also be noted that at this time in history, those who refused to convert were seen as "Savages" and either: 1) killed (Murdered) or 2) taken as slaves (condoned by the Church), so her 'conversion' may not have been willing.
