To be unprosperous or to be in state of sickness is tantamount to being faithless, disobedient and unblessed christian. This false teaching is contrary to early christian testimonies and lifestyle, and God's word. Early apostles and followers of our Lord never emphasize prosperous living and perfect health. Even the Apostle Paul mentions the thorn in his flesh that he fervently prayed before the Lord, yet he was never healed instead he boast of having such sickness as his strength, for in my weakness I am strong, reminding us that our work in the Lord will not rest on our perfect body condition but on the hands and power of God alone. The almighty God creator of all things never needs the help of any of His servant to beg support for His church to survive. Our rich God who owns all things is in the business of changing the hearts and minds of His faithful followers, who would freely give not in a fixed and obligatory manner as this preachers forcefully obliged his listeners to do( typical of all prosperity preachers), but freely and lovingly give whatever their heart desires as fruit of love to their Lord.
