Yes he was the onetime Secretary of Arya Yuvak Sabha at Nagpur but after that he thought that to fight for the independence of the country a more militant type than Arya Samaj with staunch nationalist views would be more effective, he founded Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh.
