yes that was what they originally intended to name him.
While Sonic was still being developed SEGA named him Mr. Needlemouse.
The original name that was used for Sonic the Hedgehog was "Mr. Needlemouse".
Sonic's Original Name is "Mr. Needlemouse" .
Sonic doesn't really have a surname, unless you count "the Hedgehog".
Sonic's real name is in fact Sonic. Although other continuities and Sonic adaptations may change it to suit their storylines, in the canon games, there is no mention of Sonic's name being anything else other than Sonic.Originally Sonic's full name was to be Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog. His fist name has never been mentioned in any sonic adaptation, so there is no way to know if they simply scraped the idea or have yet to reveal it. His middle name being Maurice has been mentioned in several continuities however.
Yes, and it is called Mr Gum and the Cherry Tree.
Sonic, because I have no idea who Mr Bean is neither does anyone.
Conceivably, Sonic the Hedgehog could be considered more famous than Mr. Bean since there are still Sonic games while Mr. Bean, the character, hasn't made anything since a major motion picture. However, the actor who plays Mr. Bean could be considered more famous. It's a subjective matter.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Mr. Egghead
No, they are not over 18, but even at 18 and over there are going to be people who will hate being called Mr and will ask you to stop it.
george sarkis is called Mr photosynthesis
The original purpose of Sonic the Hedgehog was to act as a mascot for SEGA as well as be a rival for Mario. Yuji Naka, Naoto Oshima and Hirozaku Yasuhara were the three on the project. They were aiming for simplicity and being able to attack whilst jumping, whilst being able to move at high speeds. They worked on designing several animals such as cats, mice and rabbits. Their final decision came down between an armadillo and a hedgehog, but whilst both characters rolled into a ball, an armadillo protected itself by creating a shield, rather than attack. Naoto Oshima presented one of his older character designs that didn't make the cut, "Mr. Harinezumi", translated as "Mr. Hedgehog", or as most know it, "Mr. Needlemouse". This was the base of what Sonic the Hedgehog was to be developed upon, until we see the (classic) hedgehog we know today.
