Joseph Stalin died of natural causes in l953. There is no evidence of any assasination. a Staliln shooting would have sparked a counter-revolution by the NKVD and KGB and possibly the Red Army as well. Joe died of natural causes.
Poorly, in fact he was assassinated on Stalin's orders.
Trotsky
Stalin had Trotsky expelled from the Communist Party and exiled from the Soviet Union. He then ordered the assassination of Trotsky, who was killed in Mexico in 1940 by a Soviet agent.
Leon Trotsky was murdered on orders from Stalin in 1940.
I don't know a single event that brought about Trotsky's death. If there was one, someone who understands better than I should explain it. Stalin had him assassinated because he was a political enemy and thorn in Stalin's side.
Leon Trotsky, the number two man in the Bolshevik Party during the Russian Revolution of October 1917 was assassinated in Mexico City, Mexico in 1940.
This event represents when trotsky (snowball) for chased by the secret agents of stalin, and trotsky was then assassinated and killed. this was because stalin eventually didnt agree with trotsky's ideas, so he ordered the agents to do so. hope this helped :)
Joseph Stalin's rival for control of the Soviet Union was Leon Trotsky. Vladimir Lenin died in 1924 and over the next 5 years Stalin would kill or otherwise remove all of his political opponents and rivals and exile Trotsky. He eventually had Trotsky assassinated in Mexico City in 1940.
In the 1920's, Leon Trotsky opposed the bureaucracy and policies of Josef Stalin. As a result, he was removed from power in 192,7 and deported from the Soviet Union in 1929. He found asylum in Mexico and continued his opposition to the Stalinist government. He and most of his family were killed on Stalin's orders.
Yes, Stalin had Trotsky killed eventually. However, before that he had Trotsky kicked out of USSR politics and then the USSR itself.
Seems like Leon Trotsky to me. He opposed Stalin for which he was exiled and eventually assassinated in Mexico by a Soviet agent.
Leon Trotsky became a political enemy of Josef Stalin. Stalin's fear of any descent from his policies were tantamount to treason. Stalin believed that if one of the original Bolsheviks, such as a Trotsky, could gather strength, there could be a revolution against Stalin's regime. Therefore Stalin put a price on Trosky's head. Trotsky was murdered in Mexico.
