Yes. Multiple times. There have been numerous wrestlers who have sued the WWE for reasons like WWE is refusing to release them from their contract or has sold merchandise using their name and so on. WWE has a very strong legal team to deal with all these cases. Recently TNA Wrestling has sued WWE for using confidential information that was shared with the WWE by an employee who joined WWE after leaving TNA. WWE has refuted the claim and is pursuing the case legally.
