Depends what you mean by fake. They are all real plays; they can be and are actually performed. They are not closet plays to be read and not performed.
Are the stories in the plays true stories? Some of them are based on historical fact--the histories, Macbeth, and the Roman plays.
If you mean by "fake" that the stories are not stories about Shakespeare's personal life, then indeed they are completely unrelated to his personal life. It is a matter of great frustration to many people that this is so, but it is certainly so. He did not write his plays because his son died, because he had a toothache or because Anne wanted a new dress; he wrote them around good stories that he had heard or read and which he thought would sell. Period.
