"Taft was a bad president because he was a bad politition and did not even want to be president. he only became president because his wife wanted to be the first lady. in my opinion Taft did nothing wat so ever to help us except those little reforms. so no he was a bbbbbaaaaaaaddd pres.!!!"
Most of these words are untrue, though I completely respect that the author of the article is allowed to have his own opinon. I did some research on Taft, and in my opinion, William Howard Taft was a great president. He was an amazing student who graduated from the prestigious Yale University with a doctorate in Law. He was intelligent and had good ideas, and he claimed both New Mexico and Arizona for the United States during his term. His wife, Helen Harrem's whims did not affect his decisions, by the way. He did reform things, as the author above stated, and there were no economy problems during his term, which is more than I can say for our current president. He always kept things under control, and even made some improvements on America. That's why I think Taft was a good president, even if he did get stuck in a bathtub.
