Fender Jazz basses after the 1980's do not go for much higher than brand new Fender basses. I would estimate the price of your bass at around 1000, or if you are lucky 1500.
Owning both basses, I can tell you that the Fender Jazz does have a thinner neck than the Precision. I don't know the exact difference (measurement wise) but it's definitely a noticeable difference.

I don't think so. A while ago I tried fitting a fender precision pick guard onto my squire precision with no luck. The pickups on squires are shaped differently. It's worth a try I suppose but I wouldn't be too optimistic.

I have one (60th anniversary), it's antique white, but with silver hardware. They were only available through Sam Ash. I believe only a few hundred were made.
