The archaeopteryx was clearly bipedal as it had 2 legs and 2 wings that clearly could not support body weight like the legs. However the wings had claws and could very likely be used to climb trees using all 4 limbs.
Bipedal and Quadrupedal
A bipedal walks on two legs (e.g. humans); a quadrupedal animal walks on four legs (e.g. dog, cat, etc.).
Bipedal and Quadrupedal
Quadrupedal means having four feet.
A horse is a quadrupedal mammal while a Kangaroo is typically a bipedal marsupial.
No - a pig walks on all fours, so it is called a 'quadruped'. Quadrupeds move by quadrupedal locomotion.

Being bipedal means that an organism primarily uses two legs for locomotion. This form of movement allows for walking, running, and other forms of travel on two feet, distinguishing bipedal species from quadrupedal ones that use four limbs. Bipedalism is associated with various evolutionary advantages, such as freeing the hands for tool use and improving visibility in certain environments. Humans and many bird species are prime examples of bipedal organisms.
Bipedal describes a manner of movement in which one moves using two legs or feet. (Biped in latin is literally "two footed") Humans are bipedal, as are some animals like kangaroos or some primates, although the term is not restricted to describing living organisms. Animals like dogs and cats are considered quadrupedal, as they move on four limbs.

Quadrupedal. And it means walking on four legs whether you're a dinosaur, a dog, or a gecko. Quadrupedal is the Latin... the Greek equivalent is Tetrapodal. Both mean four-footed, and both are used to describe animals that move on four limbs.
Triceratops was a quadrupedal land animal. It didn't have wings or fins, and technically the end of the forelimb is a foot, not a hand, unless the animal is at least partly bipedal. Its front feet each had three toes.
