not even close silly!! she was a female pharoah who chose o dress like a guy because she didnt want to be treated differently
I can find no mention of Queen Hatshepsut in the Bible. Historically her reign took place sometime in the 16th century BCE, just before Thutmose III.
The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is located in Deir el-Bahari, near Luxor, Egypt, on the west bank of the Nile River. The Great Pyramid of Giza, built for Pharaoh Khufu, is situated on the Giza Plateau, just outside Cairo, Egypt. Both sites are significant archaeological and historical landmarks from ancient Egyptian civilization.
Queen Hatshepsut was the first woman to become King of Egypt. To convince people that she was just as good as a man she wore the mens clothes during her rule, the fake beard and the King's crown. Her rule was very good bringing prosper to Egypt. Although because she 'took' the throne from Tuthmosis III her nephew, because he wasn't old enough, he erased and destroyed all statues/depictions of her that he could find. Hatshepsut does have a temple in Thebes though that has not been destroyed.
The Nile river runs the entire ength of Egypt. Calling Cleopatra "queen of the Nile" is just another term for calling her queen of Egypt.
She was the first king pharaoh because she was strong. She also put is use the trade route and became the constructor of the 18th dynasty. After tutmoses 11 died, tutmoses 111 was too young to rule. She put on the fake beard and ruled as a man and she was good at that. Since Thutmose III was too young to assume the throne unaided, Hatshepsut served as his regent. Initially, Hatshepsut bore this role traditionally until, for reasons that are unclear, she claimed the role of pharaoh. Technically, Hatshepsut did not 'usurp' the crown, as Thutmose the III was never deposed and was considered co-ruler throughout her life, but it is clear that Hatshepsut was the principal ruler in power. He was her nephew.

Egypt, in Cleopatra's time, was a long skinny country and the Nile River ran it's entire length. Because Cleopatra ruled the country, she also ruled the Nile. Calling her "Queen of the Nile" was just another term for calling her Queen of Egypt.
Well, isn't that just a happy little question? Hatshepsut wore a beard in ancient Egypt to symbolize her pharaoh-like power and authority. It was a way for her to present herself as a strong and capable ruler during a time when women were not typically seen in such leadership roles. Just like adding a touch of titanium white to your painting, Hatshepsut's beard was a unique and bold choice that helped her leave a lasting impression in history.
Well, honey, Khufu and Hatshepsut were both ancient Egyptian rulers, so I guess you could say they both had a thing for sitting on fancy thrones and bossing people around. Oh, and they both probably had some killer headpieces to show off their power. Other than that, I doubt they had much in common - one built a big ol' pyramid while the other rocked a beard like nobody's business.
Queen Cleopatra and Queen Hatepsut was both was important female pharaohs... and i just gave 2 in case...
It is generally accepted that Hatshepsut became Queen of Egypt after the death of her husband (Thutmose II). He was also her step-brother. The orthodox chronology that places her in circa 1450 BC sees her as just one of many sons and daughters born to the many concubines that the ancient kings, in this case 'Egyptian', traditionally had.Hatshepsut had a daughter by Thuthmose II, but his heir was Thuthmose III, a son by a lesser wife. Hatshepsut originally reigned as co-regent with him, as he was not yet old enough to be pharaoh. However, she laid claim to the throne by claiming herself to be daughter of Ra. She reigned until she died of natural causes.
She ruled because her stepson, thutmose 2 was just a baby, so he couldn't rule, so she took over and didn't give up the throne until she died.
