It wasnt actually cold inside it was apparently nice and warm they must be having so much fun eventually! It would have been cold on deck, but the rooms were heated.
Some of the passengers, once they were told to put on their lifebelts, and go the deck thought they would be coming back. Therefore many of them cut on the heat in their rooms so it would be warm when they returned. Unfortunately they never returned.
