No. Matthew's Gospel actually uses the word 'magi', although in modern usage this is generally translated as 'wise men'. The magi were hereditary priests of the Persian religion and always came from the same Iranian tribe. If there were indeed magi who came to visit the baby Jesus, they would all have looked much like Iranians today, although Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury and leader of the world's Anglicans, has described the story of the three wise men as nothing but a "legend" and says there is little evidence that they existed.
Yes, however there fur/skin color was white. Like micheal jackson
The Bible never states their skin color, names, or even how many there were. It was made up afterwards.
Balthasar.
The Three Wise Men were - according to tradition - Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar.
Nothing to do with Santa claus- but it was legendary one of the Three Wise Men or- Magi- was supposed to be a Black Man.
Balthasar was one of the three wise men (Magi) along with Gaspar and Melchior.
No one knows. The Bible says that it was wise men bearing three gifts. 1) Gold 2) Frankincense 3) Myrrh. (pronounced: mer) There was never any mention of there being "three wise men". It was mentioned that the wise men brought "three gifts". For all we know, there could have been 10 wise men with three gifts.
One of the three wise men that had followed the star to Bethleham.
Can you name the three wise men? Can you name one of the three wise men? (easier) What gifts or name one of the gifts the 3 kings brought for the Baby Jesus
Hardly any one knew them so it can not be answered honestly.
Balthazar
Gold
You won't find them, on my reading. It only says "wise men from the East", and not even that there were *three*. The traditional names, Caspar, Balthazar and Melchior, are later additions to the Gospels. The Gospels are also silent on ethnicity/colour, despite there being a tradition that one of them was black.
no they arrived each one 1 hour later
The wise men - the Bible does not say there were three of them - gave Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Because there were three gifts, it is assumed that there were three givers. But one person may have given more than one gift, or several people may have given the same gift. We don't know.
