There is no Nyla in The Lion King. There is Nala, however, and Nala is a girl - Simba's betrothed and wife, the queen.
In the Disney movie The Lion King, Simba falls in love with Nala. She was his childhood friend. Several people told them when they were young that it was tradition for them to get married, but neither of them liked this idea very much. Until they grew up, that is. :)
Canonically, Kiara doesn't have a brother in The Lion King II. Kopa would be considered Kiara's brother, but he doesn't appear or is directly mentioned in the film as he only exists in The Lion King: Six New Adventures and is never spoken of again.
The story is about a king lion, named Mufasa, who has a son who, when he grows up, will be the new king. A wise old baboon, Rafiki, holds the cub high. Time passes and the infant is a playful cub. Simba, the cub, can't wait to be king. On the other hand, Scar, Mufasa's younger brother, wants to be king and take over the Pridelands. (Firstborn is the king.) He and his stupid hyena henchmen, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, think up plans to kill Mufasa and Simba. Scar tricks Simba, his best friend Nala, and Zazu (the bird majordomo) into going beyond the boundaries, where they meet the hyenas. They get chased until Mufasa comes and scares them away. Scar thinks up another plan which is no escape for Simba or Mufasa, scaring a huge wildebeest herd! Mufasa saves Simba from his death but the hyenas and Scar successfully kill Mufasa, which upsets Sarabi, his mate, very much. Scar orders his hyenas to chase Simba and kill him, but Simba escapes into sharp thornbushes. The stupid hyenas don't follow him. Simba runs on the horizon to escape. Scar claims himself new king. Simba is left on the hot African plains where he faints, and is rescued by a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa. Simba is forced to eat bugs and grubs for meals. He accepts, but still thinks it's gruesome. After that, time passes, and he grows into a young lion. One day, Pumbaa is chased by a hungry young lioness and gets caught in a fallen tree root. Simba fights with the lioness, realizes it's Nala, his best friend. The lions rejoice, and soon fall in love. After that, Nala tells Simba that Scar has taken over the Pridelands and turned it gray and lifeless. (He has caught Zazu and trapped him in a ribcage.) Simba says he can't go back, but Nala insists. Simba gets mad and turns away from her. Rafiki, the wise mysical baboon follows Simba and shows him that his father lives in him. Simba goes back to the Pridelands to fight. Meanwhile, Timon, Pumbaa, and Nala hear from Rafiki, saying that the King has returned. They follow Simba into the Pridelands. Simba tells Timon and Pumbaa to distract the hyenas (there are thousands of them) and Nala to search for the lionesses. Simba looks for his uncle. He finds him and tells him to step down. Scar wants Simba to tell the lionesses who was responsible for Mufasa's death. Simba doesn't remember what really happened, so he claims that he killed his father. Scar said he admits it as a murderer. Simba said it was an accident. Scar ambushes Simba and has him dangle at the edge of a cliff, over flames. Scar whispers to Simba that he, himself, killed Mufasa. The memory soon comes back to Simba. He gathers his strength and knocks Scar down. He insists that Scar tells the truth. Scar does, and the lionesses rush toward the hyenas and fight. Simba is covered in biting hyenas. After he frees himself, he looks for his uncle. He chases him up a cliff and fights with him. He hurtles Scar over the edge, where he is killed by his hyenas. (They misheard him because he called them family, but they heard it enemy.) The rains wash away the fire. Zazu was freed by Timon and Pumbaa. Simba is claimed to king, with Queen Nala. Rafiki holds their cub up high, just like Simba.
David, (who later became King of Israel) was a shepherd boy working for his father and killed a lion and a bear that was trying to get to the sheep (I Samuel 17:34-36).

There's two (until they grow up): Boy: Simba Girl: Nala

That's obvious beast boy...beast boy could not only become a lion and match Simba's strength but he could become a dinosaur and tear him to shreds....he wouldn't stand a chance.
