The decline of feudalism made the nobility less important. This was partly because of the rise of the middle class, which included commoners who were as wealthy as or wealthier than many members of the nobility. And it was partly because they had lost their military importance as knights became vulnerable and standing armies reduced their value as a first response. Ultimately, this made life a bit easier for the nobility, as they did not have quite as much responsibility, but were able to buy luxuries supplied by the middle class merchants.

Monarchies by their very nature fear revolution. When the American revolution happened a fear spread through Europe. Catherine the Great was asked by King George to send Russian troops to help him in the revolution, but she declined fearing she may need them at home. In Britain people who supported the American revolution wore a powder blue ribbon or dressed in the color as a silent form of support. Anything else would have been considered treason by the king.

Why is high prices part of the french revolution?

While I'm not entirely sure how to answer this, I know for a fact that rising prices angered French peasants, fueling the revolution. When bread prices rose because of inflation, more and more peasants died of starvation and they resented the nobility and monarchy even more. Hope I helped!
