The Zodiac is what is known as an organized killer. His murders were well planned, he had his weapons, location, used a disguise, and had a wonderful time taunting police and public alike.
There is no doubt that the Zodiac was highly intelligent. Three of his coded messages sent to police and newspapers have still not been cracked by the FBI. This man left nothing to chance. These kinds of organized killers are some of the hardest to catch.
