No, only war in self-defense is ever justified. All the offensive and interventionist wars the US and any other group have launched are all morally and ethically wrong.

Cuba had fought several wars in unsuccessful attempts to free themselves of Spain such as the savage Ten Years War of 1868-1878 and Revolt of 1895. During those wars, American property was destroyed primarily by Spanish soldiers. Additionally, after the wars, Spain began putting Cubans in "reconcentrados" which were the world's first concentration camps. Disease and starvation were rampant. It was a just and humanitarian cause for the United States to help the Cuban people as France had helped the American people only a century earlier.
