It was really, really bad... it killed a LOT of people. If you mean, was there anything at all good about it... maybe. I think it helped people to know more about disease, and combatting them, and even now it is helping geneticists research patterns of immunity in generations of people. But, overall, it was very very bad and many many many people died. I'm not sure if death on that scale can ever be called good.
