its still life paintings
Janet Fish is a famous artist from Massachusetts. She is best known for still life paintings. Janet knew she wanted to be an artist from a very young age. She was influenced by her mother, father, and grandfather. Now she has her work in Museums and is doing very well!
Janet Fish was born in April 19,1938 in Boston, Massachusetts.
James H O'Neill is or was an artist and diver in Hawaii, on the island of Maui. He painted Hawaiian Tropical Fish Paintings similar to Christian Lassen and Robert Wyland, at the time. O'Neill claimed most artists painted Hawaii fish paintings using Atlantic fish. In November of 1989, O'Neill said because he was a diver, every fish he painted, was a fish he personally saw while diving in the Hawaiian Islands. Back in the late 80s and early 90s, you could find postcards of his paintings in tourist shops.
Janet Fish rose to fame by beginning a return to realism in the 1970's. Her still life paintings feature light bouncing off of reflective surfaces. She has been an art instructor at several well known art schools including Syracuse University and Chicago University.
There are many different types of fish. A "painted" Molly fish, refers to any Molly fish that has been dyed to appear as "painted" with markings.

Yes they eat the other fish. They are hungry from being painted to long. So they will eat the fish. (Maybe they can eat you too!)
I am an artist and I store my oil paintings in the freezer with fish surrounding them
