Was the whole world racist in 1914?

No the whole world was not racist in 1914 in fact people were trying to fight the issue. The present concept of racist wasn't a big concern in 1914, at least to the groups that were "on top". By today's standards the society of the world would have seemed racist, sexist, ethnocentric, bigoted and exhibit a number of other negative attributes. When we look back (see old movies and documentaries) we wonder why they could have thought that way.

No more and no less than today. People are no different; human behavior grinds on as it always has.
