No, they are not the same size, the Dakota is a mid-sized pick-up and the Ram is a full size pick-up. The Dakota bed then would be smaller and the Ram bed wild be larger.

If it is the same as a 93 dakota, there is a small cilender on the driver side of the door on the inside of your frame. Right around where your cab and bed come togther. Take off the clamps and replace.

This is an easy one, first open the access door for your gas and take out the screws holding the neck of the gas tank in place, then get under the vehicle and there are 6 bolts holding the bed on, just take them out and you can take the bed off. If you are removing the bed completely, also undo all the wiring going into the taillights.
