Was there ever a white castle in California?

Answer #1: Yes there was one in San Bernardino.

Answer #2: I found a website (Menuism) that says there is one at 312 Candler Rd Se, Los Angeles, CA 90038, (404) 289-6292. I just tried that phone number and got a high pitched tone like a FAX number, so who knows to whom the number belongs?

However, according to the White Castle website, the nearest White Castle to Southern California is in Missouri. I tend to believe White Castle's website, so no White Castle west of Minnesota or Missouri.

A coworker of my that grew up in Muskogee, OK told me there WAS a White Castle there when he was in his youth, however it went out of business. I wish it hadn't I've been craving White Castle for years now, and don't feel like making the drive to the closest one! Arggh!

Yes white castle was in Maryland in the early 70s. I don't know all the locations but one specifically was located near Lake Clifton Golf course right off of Erdman Ave. where there also was a Le Fontaine Bleu.

Yes. There was one on Colfax Avenue back in the 1980s. I got to eat there a few times, must have bee about 1983 or so. I'm not sure when it closed and the building was torn down to make from for something else. Location was near Colfax and Washington.
