Was there ever an xbox 360 that had corded controllers?

It was the Xbox360 Core that was available in November 22 2005 but then discontinued. Im not sure if there are any wired controllers available but, you can buy a play and charge kit (The charger you connect on your wireless controller) plug it in the play.
