The Vikings were just a small part of the entire norse population, most Swedes, Danes, Geats and "whatever germanic tribe the norwegians were" stayed in scandinavia and survived by farming and fishing.
The Vikings attacked Britain's most holy places, slaughtered the people who lived there and carried away favoured and expensive treasures. Well designed boats and continuous winds helped these raiders to come and go as they pleased. Britain was devastated but at such a time like that there was nothing that anyone could do to stop the horrible Vikings ruining their country.
Because their life depended on raiding. They needed to travel to find new, more wealthy places to raid other than around their home land.
The Romans were richer than the Vikings.
If you have the looting enchantment on a weapon in Minecraft, this means that every time you kill a mob, you'll receive more of its drop than you would if you killed the mob with a non-looting weapon. For example, say you typically received 2 leather from killing a cow. With looting, you might receive 4 leather. And I believe the higher number your looting enchantment is, the more drops you can get from a mob.
The Vikings Long Boat was the primary means of transport (and of exploration, and when raiding distant countries). In any mountainous region, travelling by boat is more efficient. A boat can carry much more weight of cargo than mules and horses. The 'Land of the Vikings' is mountainous, but it is intersected by fords (long bays that reach from the sea far inland). So travel by boat was the easiest and quickest mode of transport.
A raiding party is special unit that commits an assault on a village or town. The term is more often used in tribe warfare or battle skirmishes than full out wars.
The Looting enchantment in Minecraft is an enchantment that makes any mob drop (both hostile mobs and passive mobs i.e. pigs and skeletons) drop more than they normally do. To get Looting III (the highest Looting), you must enchant a level 30 sword. Don't worry if you don't get it on your first try! It might take a couple tries! To see if you have enchanted the correct enchantments you want, hover your mouse over the sword you just enchanted. It should say Looting III. For an image of it, see the related links below. (Note: You will not have all of the following enchantments listed in that image, however all that matters in this case is it shows "Looting" and whatever tier of Looting you enchanted)
The Vikings were raiders and looters because looting was standard practice by those who won battles, because they were fierce warriors who were able to raid unexpectedly and thus win, and because their homelands were overpopulated and they needed to make a living doing something other than farm.
It depends on where you go. In Minnesota, the Minnesota Vikings are much more popular than the Green Bay Packers. In Wisconsin, I am sure the popularity is reversed.
No, they had land transport. Beasts of burden and carts. Contrary to perception, not all Vikings were seafarers - there were more farmers than seafarers.
In the European middle ages, all the kings, except some in Islamic Spain, were Christian and like other Christians were permitted to marry only one woman at a time. That did not stop some from having mistresses, but that is an entirely different thing.
because they saw more thing`s and new and instresting things in their lifes,!
