Before spring of 1933, yes, there were many political parties that opposed the Nazis.
After spring of 1933, there were not as many. All parties except the Nazi Party were abolished. Opposition was eliminated by Nazis' powerful police and internal security agencies (such as the Gestapo and the SS). But there were still some small groups that tried to resist the Nazis- and they tended to wind up being ruthlessly crushed.
Some Catholic priests who spoke out against the excessive violence of the Nazi regime were arrested and sent to concentration camps; the Dachau camp had a special "Pfarrerblock" ("Priests' Section") just for clergy.
There was also a small group of university students in Munich called the "White Rose" who made pamphlets and graffiti to try to build resistance to the Nazis. After a few months, they were arrested and executed- some were even executed by guillotine!
Another group were the Swingjugend- the "Swing kids". These were mostly teenagers who enjoyed American music, especially jazz (which was banned by the Nazis because of its connection to African-Americans). They would meet in secret and listen to American music and dance. These too were crushed by the Nazis. On a side note, about 25 years ago Christian Bale was in a movie about them, appropriately titled "Swing Kids".
Hitler
on September 7, 1945, when Germany surrendered to the Allies. Actually, the Nazi party was officially disbanded on 7 May 1945. This came about with the defeat of Germany.
The role of the Nazi Party in Germany was to consolidate their power throughout the nation, have the citizens conform to their agenda, and continue to spread propaganda to further their twisted goals.
The Nazi party became the largest political party in Germany following the 6th Reichstag elections on July 31, 1932. As a result of the election the Nazi party received 37.3% of the popular vote (an increase of 19%) and 230 seats in the Reichstag (an increase of 123)
Hitler was not the founder of the Nazi Party.

The Nazi party led by Adolf Hitler ruled Nazi Germany. That is why it is called "Nazi" Germany.
The Nazi Party, led by Adolf Hitler, rose to power in Germany during the 1930s. Hitler became Chancellor in 1933 and consolidated his power through a combination of propaganda, intimidation, and the suppression of political opposition.
The Nazi party
It was defeated in 1945, when Germany lost the war, the Nazi party was outlawed.
Largest nazi party?? Nazi party was Adolf Hitler's Political party in GERMANY! Please see what you're asking, probably you're trying to ask that "when Nazi party became the largest party in Germany?" The answer is in 1932 elections, nazi became the largest party in Germany, although they did not gained majority. NO STUPID HE IS NOT ASKING "WHEN NAZI PARTY BECAME LARGEST PARTY IN GERMANY?" HE IS ASKING "WHICH COUNTRY HAS THE LARGEST NAZI PARTY TODAY?" For your information, there is still a nazi party today, and it is all over the world. There are many anti-nazi organazations in the U.S. Infact there was a holocoust museum opening in Chicago, and there were many pro-nazi rioters with nazi flags and chants protesting against the opening of the museum. (sry i don't know which country has the largest nazi party today :(.....)
the people of Germany were impressed of the lies and the powerful propaganda of Hitler's.the people made him and the Nazi party to maintain the control of Germany.
