She leads him to a hideout where he meets yahiko, another war orphan. Yahiko's dream was ruling the world and ensuring world peace. As years passed, they met the 3 sanin of the leaf village, and Jiraya, their new sensei. They learned ninjitsu. As they grew up,Yahiko, created the Akatsuki, many followed this poltical peace movement, and that how the Akatsuki were created.

Is pein dating konan?
No. I don't think Konan even feels for him that way, it's more like high respect. Konan's reason for joining the Akatsuki was love. Not love for Nagato but love for Yahiko. Spoiler Nagato's deva path was Yahiko's body and Konan loved Yahiko. It becomes a bit more clear in Manga chapters: 551, pages 08 511, pages 11 and 12.
Is yoshiko uchida dead?
before madara made the akatsuki the leader of some village who cannot hold the position of a kage captured konan and asked nagato to kill yahiko if they want her to live. nagato didn't want to but yahiko killed himself. nagato used yahiko's corpse to be one of pain's six paths. later nagato died as so did all pain's six paths.
