There is no historical evidence to suggest that Hitler was Jewish. Recent scholarship suggests that the rumors about Hitler's ancestry were circulated by political opponents as a way of discrediting the leader of an antisemitic party. These rumors persist primarily because the identity of Hitler's paternal grandfather is unknown; rumors that this grandfather was Jewish have never been proven.

No, there is no evidence of that Hitler had Jewish ancestors. The question arises because Hitler's paternal grandfather is not known for sure.

It is generally accepted that the grandfather was Johann Georg Hiedler, an Austrian man who was basically a wandering farm worker. That man's brother Johann Nepomuk Hiedler, helped raise Hitler's father Alois, so some people claim that he was actually the father of the child. Eventually Johann Georg married Hitler's grandmother, and became the "stepfather" of Alois.

When Alois was about 40 years old (and about 12 years before Adolf's birth), he had himself legitimated. Since he was an illegitimate birth, he was originally given his mother's maiden name, which was Schicklgruber. By having himself legitimated, his name was changed to Hiedler. However, the official who recorded it mis-wrote the name as Hitler (which is pronounced almost exactly the same), and the name stuck.

During Hitler's rise to power in the 1920s, his political opponents tried to find evidence that Hitler had Jewish ancestry, which would make his rabid antisemitism seem ludicrous and hypocritical. A story arose that Hitler's grandmother had had an affair with a Jewish businessman in the city of Graz, and that Alois was the child of this affair. However, no evidence has been found to substantiate the claim, or that the Jewish man existed- especially considering that Graz had banned Jews in the 1500s, and didn't allow them to return until well after Alois was born.
