Water dripping on the front of a portable air conditioner could mean that the air filter needs to be changed. Your evaporator coil may also be dirty.
Assuming there's nothing wrong with the car, then the water drip is caused by condensation from your air conditioner.
Are you sure you have a leak? Most of the time when using the air conditioner, your car will appear to be leaking water or dripping underneath the vehicle, towards the front.
Yes, this is a great way to exhaust a single hose portable air conditioner. You would simply need to adapt the hose connections to the front of your fireplace. I have seen an installation where the front of the fireplace was sealed with a piece of plexiglas. The plexiglas had been custom cut to fit the portable AC's fittings.
This is because condensation takes place after the compressor has compress the air in it.
Its pretty likely this is just because you ran the air conditioner. Look at where the water drops from. Its probably on one side below the A/C condenser unit which gets condensation on it. (if its dripping near the front bumper, you may have a radiator problem ) I have seen this on my jeep Cherokee, and in past vehicles, so I wouldn't worry about.

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH A DUAL HOSE PORTABLE AC UNLESS YOU OPERATE IT IN SINGLE HOSE MODE. The reason is that the hot exhaust air will pool in the fireplace itself and be drawn back into the unit through the intake hose if it was installed.
It is the part under the alternator, right front corner.
Probably condensation coming from the air conditioning unit.
The air conditioner condenser is located in front of the radiator behind the front grill.........
does it have air conditioning? if it does, the water is just condensation dripping off of some ofthe air conditioning components. its completely normal
behind the grille and in front of the radiator I believe that the condenser is in front of the radiator. The evaporator is inside the vehicle in the dashboard. It removes humidity from the air by cooling it so the water vapour turns into water droplets and you'll see this water dripping on the ground from the passenger side of the vehicle when running the AC.
it's located in superior left side or passenger side around the windshield water hose or shock passenger side (you need stand on front of the car)
