What is inferential statistics?
Inferential statistics, is used to make claims about the populations that give rise to the data we collect. This requires that we go beyond the data available to us. Consequently, the claims we make about populations are always subject to error; hence the term "inferential statistics" and not deductive statistics.

There is no scientific evidence to support his claims, in fact the evidence contradicts his claims. What evidence do you need to submit to the court as a defense against false allegations.?
Pleadings like the complaint and the answer are not evidence. The standard practice is to conduct what is called discovery. You can ask written questions about the facts to support the allegations of the complaint, demand documents and take the depositions of the witnesses. The plaintiff is not necessarily obligated to proceed at trial with all of the claims, but you can have the witnesses and documentary evidence available at trial to disprove the claims.

Asked in Civil Lawsuits, Small Claims
Do you need evidence for a small claims lawsuit?
Yes, you must present evidence that your claim is correct so the court can see if your claim is valid. You must also anticipate what the other party is going to say so that you can bring evidence to refute their contentions. The more evidence you have to support your claim, the more likely the judge will be to rule in your favor.

What is anecdotal evidence?
The expression anecdotal evidence refers to evidence from anecdotes. Because of the small sample, there is a larger chance that it may be unreliable due to cherry-picked or otherwise non-representative samples of typical cases. Anecdotal evidence is considered dubious support of a claim; it is accepted only in lieu of more solid evidence. This is true regardless of the veracity of individual claims.
